The Physically Strong Triathlon
is owned and managed by the
Southwest Michigan Council,
Boy Scouts of America.

The triathlon is a fund raising event for the Council, and specifically, the Rota-Kiwan Scouting Reservation.

The Physically Strong Triathlon

name is based on the
Scouting Oath (or Promise):

‘On my honor I will do my best

To do my duty to God and my country

and to obey the Scout Law;

To help other people at all times;

To keep myself

physically strong,

mentally awake,

and morally straight.’

2011 results are here

Note to all 2011 athletes:

Please accept my apology for the delay in the results files being prepared this year. Long story short - my fault.  Rest of the story - won’t happen again.  We attempted something this year that clearly I should not have recommended.

Past that, I’m hearing lots of  solid comments about the 2011 event. One thing we are looking at for 2012 is holding the Open Water Swim on Friday evening next year so we can give that event greater focus and attention.  I’m going to see if we can’t also come up with a way to work up a dual registration for the Long Course and the OWS for those who want to do both.

Please let me know about any thoughts or ideas you have following this year’s events.

Train hard...race well.
